See dramatic transformation of ugly Syracuse office building into modern apartments

Syracuse, N.Y. -- A long-vacant, dilapidated downtown office building has found new life with apartments featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and, soon, a cafe.

Tenants began moving into Corbett Corner at 444 E. Genesee St. on April 15 after a yearlong, $4.7 million transformation. Already, 22 of the 24 apartments are leased, said owner Grazi Zazzara Jr., president of The Icon Cos.
