Chris Stapleton is returning to Upstate New York this summer, and he’s bringing country music’s hottest new artist with him.

Stapleton, Elle King and Morgan Wade will perform at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) in Saratoga Springs on Aug. 26. Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. through Live Nation.

Stapleton, who played the St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview in Syracuse last year, is known for country hits like “Tennessee Whiskey,” “Millionaire,” “You Should Probably Leave” and “Nobody to Blame.” He performs in Upstate New York most years and is also a prolific songwriter for other artists like Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, and George Strait.

King, the 32-year-old daughter of actor Rob Schneider, is best known for the Grammy-nominated hit “Ex’s and Oh’s” plus the Miranda Lambert collaboration “Drunk and I Don’t Want to Go Home.” her song “Playing for Keeps” was also the theme song for VH1′s “Mob Wives Chicago.”

Wade may be the most exciting part of the lineup. Her major label debut, “Reckless,” was named one of the 50 best albums of 2021 by Rolling Stone and her breakout single, “Wilder Days,” was recently covered by CMA Entertainer of the Year Luke Combs.

Wade, a 27-year-old Virginia native, was also named one of 10 rising female acts in CMT’s 2022 Next Women of Country class. Past NWOC artists include big names like Kelsea Ballerini, Gabby Barrett, Carly Pearce and Kacey Musgraves.

“It’s a big time for females in country music,” Wade told the Tennessean. “I look at these lists that I’ve been on, and I see females dominating them. We’re definitely in a time where people want to hear more women express themselves.”

Stapleton and King will also play CMAC in Canandaigua on Aug. 17, but Wade will not be part of the show. Madeline Edwards will open the CMAC concert at 7 p.m.

Tickets for CMAC go on sale Friday through Ticketmaster.
