WWE returning to Syracuse on Easter; Lil Durk-Toosii concert rescheduled, more

WWE Live is returning to Syracuse on Easter 2022.

The Oncenter announced a slew of shows on Monday, including the return of WWE and a rescheduled hip-hop concert.

WWE Live is coming to the Upstate Medical Arena at The Oncenter War Memorial in Syracuse on Easter Sunday, April 17. The wrestling event begins at 7 p.m.

Tickets for WWE Live go on sale Friday, Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster and the Solvay Bank Box Office at The Oncenter. Prices start at $20; additional fees may apply.

The WWE lineup for Syracuse currently includes: Universal Championship Match (Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs Drew McIntyre); WWE Championship Fatal Four Way Match (WWE Champion Bobby Lashley vs AJ Styles vs Seth Freakin Rollins vs Kevin Owens); RAW Women’s Championship Triple Threat Match (RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs Bianca Belair vs Rhea Ripley); and Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. All matchups subject to change.

Lil Durk & Toosii’s concert, originally scheduled for October 2021, is now set for Friday, April 1, at 8 p.m. at Upstate Medical Arena at The Oncenter War Memorial. Due to a change in venue, tickets for the original date will need to be exchanged at the Solvay Bank Box Office at The Oncenter, which is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Additional tickets for Lil Durk and Toosii are on sale via Ticketmaster and the Solvay Bank Box Office at The Oncenter. Prices range from $39.50 to $149.50; additional fees may apply.

Grammy-nominated rapper Lil Durk is coming to Syracuse for a concert that will be a homecoming for Toosii.

Lil Durk will perform at the Oncenter Convention Center in downtown Syracuse on Oct. 17 at 8 p.m. Toosii, who was born in Syracuse and lived in the city until he was 13, will open the show.

General admission tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster for $75, plus fees. VIP passes are $150.

Lil Durk is a Grammy-nominated rapper known for hits “My Beyoncé,” “The Voice,” and “3 Headed Goat,” plus appearances on Drake’s “Laugh Now Cry Later,” Pooh Shiesty’s “Back in Blood,” and Coi Leray’s “No More Parties” remix.

Toosii, who was born Nau’Jour Grainger in Syracuse and lived in the city until he was 13, will open the show. Toosii was named to the XXL Freshman Class last year, performed at Lollapalooza, dropped a new mixtape, “Thank You For Believing” (featuring DaBaby) and is averaging 1.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

David Sedaris will bring his sardonic wit and social critiques to The Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater on Sunday, April 10. The humorist will also offer a Q&A session and book signing.

Tickets for Sedaris go on sale Friday, Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster and the Solvay Bank Box Office at The Oncenter. Prices range from $31 to $51; additional fees may apply.

And comedian Sal Vulcano, best known for his role in truTV’s “Impractical Jokers,” will take The Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater stage on Saturday, June 11 at 7 p.m.

Tickets for Vulcano are on sale via Ticketmaster and the Solvay Bank Box Office at The Oncenter. Prices range from $35.75 to $55.75; additional fees may apply.
