Syracuse, N.Y. — Gary Gait helped turn Syracuse into must-see TV, drawing crowds of 20,000 to the Carrier Dome to witness a lacrosse dynasty.

His move from the SU women’s program to the men’s came with a fanfare those days could eventually return, but as his first season gets underway, most are looking elsewhere on the national landscape.
