Syracuse, N.Y. – Symir Torrence likes to go home when his mom is making pasta. It’s his favorite meal.

But even when Cherese Torrence isn’t cooking, Symir feels the pull of his Syracuse city neighborhood. His brother, Syair, appreciates his presence at the family’s home near Kirk Park. Syair, a sophomore wide receiver at CBA, is drawing recruiting interest from major Division I programs.
