Bills’ Josh Allen & Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes draw comparisons to Peyton Manning/Tom Brady (Media reactions)

Although it did not have the outcome that Buffalo Bills fans wanted, Sunday night’s 42-36 overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs is going to go down as an instant classic between the two best quarterbacks in the NFL today.

Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes were both outstanding in their respective performances.

Allen completed 27-of-37 passes for 329 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 68 yards on the ground. He finished the game with a 136 passer rating.

Mahomes was just as good for the Chiefs. The QB completed 33-of-44 passes for 378 yards and three touchdowns while adding 69 yards and one touchdown on the ground to finish with a 123.1 passer rating.

The back-and-forth matchup between the two left many media members thinking that the NFL has its new Peyton Manning/Tom Brady rivalry. Following the legendary performance between the two quarterbacks, here is what the national media was saying about Allen and Mahomes.
