Syracuse, NY -- A masked Syracuse robber who attacked a South Side store clerk before a co-defendant shot him dead will get a reduced sentence of 15 years in prison.
Stanley Sawyer, 21, proved crucial to prosecutors in securing a conviction against the actual shooter, Troy Derby, who a jury found walked up to the scuffle in December 2018 and executed store clerk Asim Musa in the street outside Eddie’s Eagle Market.
