Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse men’s lacrosse coach Gary Gait said he is gathering details of the name, image and likeness agreement that the country’s top recruit in the Class of 2022 made with Gait Lacrosse, an equipment manufacturer owned by his brother, Paul.
Inside Lacrosse first reported the NIL agreement between Joey Spallina and Gait Lacrosse on Wednesday, and it was officially announced by the lacrosse company on Thursday. The agreement provides Spallina with cash, equipment and an agreement to eventually collaborate on his own branded apparel.
