Syracuse, N.Y. — Buddy Boeheim caught an errant pass from his older brother with one hand, took a dribble and faded on a 3-pointer while falling out of bounds toward the Syracuse bench. He watched the ball soar through the air before it took a soft bounce on the rim and dropped through the basket.
It was Boeheim’s fifth and toughest triple of the night. His previous four makes were clean looks with minimum pressure from Pittsburgh’s defenders.
