Syracuse, N.Y. — The Syracuse women’s basketball team will host Florida State at the Carrier Dome on Tuesday, Feb. 15, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced.

Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. and the game will be televised on ACC Network Extra through the ESPN app.

The game was rescheduled from its previous date of Jan. 2 because the Seminoles entered the ACC’s health and safety protocols. It was the Orange’s second contest that was impacted by Covid-19 concerns after a Dec. 22 matchup against Siena was canceled — minutes before tip-off — for precautionary reasons.

February’s meeting with Florida State will be the first game between the two teams since last season’s ACC tournament. It was a bittersweet game for Syracuse since it ended with a game-winning shot as time expired by former Orange center Kamilla Cardoso, but it also marked the last game sophomore guard Priscilla Williams played before she suffered a season-ending head injury in the win. Williams is redshirting the 2021-22 season due to an undisclosed injury.

The ACC also announced Tuesday the rescheduling of two games:

Tuesday, Jan. 25: Notre Dame at Virginia, 6 p.m., ACC Network Extra (originally scheduled for Dec. 30)

Tuesday, Feb. 1: Louisville at Miami, 7 p.m., ACC Network Extra (originally scheduled for Jan. 9)

Syracuse will begin a two-game road trip on Thursday when it plays at No. 3 Louisville (7 p.m., ACC Network Extra), which marks a reunion with former Orange forward Emily Engstler. The team will then visit Virginia on Sunday at 1 p.m.
