Door Dash delivery driver’s car stolen by teen in Eastwood neighborhood

Syracuse, N.Y. -- A Door Dash delivery driver’s car was stolen while he was making a delivery in Syracuse’s Eastwood neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.

Around 3:40 p.m., the driver got out of his car to make a delivery in the 100 block of Mildred Avenue, according to a news release from Syracuse police.

The 47-year-old driver was waiting to make the delivery outside a home when a juvenile male got in the car and drove away, police said. The vehicle has not been found.

Police did not provide a suspect description.

The investigation is ongoing.
