Syracuse, N.Y. — Caleb Okechukwu went straight from preparing for his sophomore season to a hospital bed.

Back in 2019, the Syracuse defensive end spent nearly three weeks confined to a hospital room and another two weeks using a walker to get around campus as his body adjusted to moving and being upright again.
