The average home sales price rose 22% in Onondaga County so far this year compared to last year, according to the latest data.
The average price in the county was $281,110, according Central New York Information Service, which is part of the Greater Syracuse Association of Realtors. The home sales data is though Oct. 12.
The percentage increases ranged from 6.4% in Pompey to 53.4% in Otisco compared to last year, the data shows.
The average home sale price ranged from $132,400 in Syracuse to $764,800 in the town of Skaneateles. Skaneateles also recorded the largest increase in average home sale price, up $143,800 compared to last year.
Four towns saw the average price increase more than $100,000 compared to last year: Otisco, Spafford, Skaneateles and Tully.
