The deadline for securing an absentee ballot from the Board of Elections is Monday.

That’s the deadline for voters who apply for a ballot by mail, online or fax.

The last day to apply in person for a general election ballot is Nov. 1.

Absentee ballots are due back at the Board of Elections at 1000 Erie Blvd. W., Syracuse, by Election Day, or Nov. 2.

Those ballots can be brought in or mailed. If they are mailed, they must be postmarked by Nov. 2 and arrive no later than Nov. 9.

Ballots can also be dropped off at polling sites during early voting or at polls on Election Day. On Nov. 2, polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
