Hope Cafe: The same good food and drink supports good works in a new spot (Dining Out Review)

Dining Out: Hope Cafe

We were surprised at how homey Hope Cafe felt in its new location. (Jane Marmaduke Woodman/Contributing Writer)

Liverpool, N.Y. — When we reviewed Hope Cafe in its original location, we were impressed with the food but even more pleased by the promise that all profits support charitable work in this area as well as internationally, through The People Project.

The same good work goes on in the new location, though we had to admit the renovated Village Burger building initially felt a bit less cozy than the original space. But that initial impression wore off as we wandered through the sections of seating, including books, sofas and two table heights as well as a large patio.
