Charlotte, N.C. – Buddy Boeheim had mostly finished interviews at the ACC men’s basketball media day on Tuesday. At that point nobody – not a single probing media person – had asked whether he was preparing to play his final season at Syracuse.

Boeheim, the Orange senior, is allowed to play one more college basketball season because of the havoc Covid-19 brought upon 2020-21. The NCAA granted every player from last season a free year of eligibility.
