Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse football’s Oct. 23 game at Virginia Tech will kick at 12:30 p.m., the ACC announced Monday.
The game will be televised regionally in Central New York, though more info on what channel will come closer to the game.
The meeting will mark Syracuse’s first visit to Virginia Tech since 2003. The two schools met every year from 1992-2003 as members of the Big East, but the matchup has been less frequent under the ACC’s scheduling format.
The Orange knocked off the Hokies, 31-17, in their most recent matchup during the 2016 season. It marked the first win against a ranked opponent for coach Dino Babers.
Both teams have three wins and have suffered close losses through the first half of the season. Virginia Tech (3-2, 1-0 ACC) upset North Carolina in the season opener but dropped contests to West Virginia and Notre Dame by a combined nine points.
Syracuse (3-3, 0-2 ACC) has dropped back-to-back, three-point games decided on the final play of the game.
