Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse football cruised to a dominating 62-24 win over Albany on Saturday thanks to five touchdowns by Sean Tucker, tied for the second-most touchdowns behind Orange legend Jim Brown.

Tucker’s five touchdowns placed him in an exclusive group with Floyd Little, Walter Reyes and Amba Etta-Tawo — all Syracuse players who have scored five touchdowns in their career.

Syracuse kicker Andre Szmyt became the program’s all-time leader in field goals during the game after making his 60th career field goal to pass Cole Murphy’s previous record of 59.

Reporters, Orange fans and SU players shared their thoughts via social media on Syracuse’s second win of the season, Szmyt’s record and Tucker’s captivating performance.
