Syracuse, N.Y. ― Your money is no good at the Carrier Dome.
Oh you’ll still have to pay for your Dome Foam and T-shirts, but leave the green stuff at home.
Syracuse University is introducing a variety of cashless payment methods for purchasing concessions and merchandise at Orange football games this season.
In a statement released Wednesday, SU officials said fans will be able to make purchases with Apple Pay, Android Pay and Google Wallet mobile payment services, in addition to major credit and debit cards.
The move toward cashless payments is part of the university’s efforts to streamline concessions and merchandise as well as reduce the potential spread of Covid-19.
The cashless methods will be the only forms of payment at the Carrier Dome. Cash will not be accepted at concession stands, merchandise areas or the ticket office.
Syracuse previously announced that mobile ticketing would be used for athletics events in the Dome this season. Fans need to log in to their MyCuse account to access their mobile tickets to events. For step-by-step instructions, visit Cuse.com/mobiletickets.
