Syracuse, N.Y. — One of the city’s biggest summer festivals returned to downtown this weekend. The free, family-friendly Syracuse Arts & Crafts Festival kicked off Friday and continues through Sunday.
Located at the intersections of East Onondaga, East Jefferson and Montgomery Streets, the event features artists, craftspeople, street performers, strolling musicians and summer refreshments.
Nearly 130 of the nation’s most talented artists are here showcasing their work. Guests are able to browse and buy contemporary arts and crafts, including ceramics, sculptures, photography, painting, woodworking, jewelry, clothing, and more.
It’s the 50th anniversary edition of the event, and the first major festival downtown since before the pandemic in 2019. The festival runs until 5 p.m. today; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
An information booth is located in front of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
