Want to get breakfast for a serious throwback price?
IHOP is celebrating its 63rd anniversary by selling pancakes for 58 cents at restaurants nationwide Tuesday, July 13. According to WTVF, that’s a savings of at least $5 as a short stack of pancakes typically costs for $5.59 for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Here’s how to get your 58-cent pancakes: Simply visit a participating IHOP location between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and order a short stack of pancakes for $0.58. The deal is limited to one order per guest for dine-in service only.
Participating locations include IHOP in Clay (4155 Route 31), New Hartford (535 French Rd), Vestal (3720 Vestal Pkwy East); and Watertown (1290 Arsenal St). For more information, visit ihop.com.
If a short stack of pancakes isn’t enough to fill you up, you can add to your order, including pancakes and sides like bacon, eggs and potatoes. It’ll just cost you extra. IHOP’s menu also includes French toast, waffles, omelettes, burritos, steakburgers, sandwiches, salads, milkshakes, and specialty pancakes like blueberry, cupcake, chocolate chocolate chip and strawberry-banana pancakes.
Al and Jerry Lapin opened the first International House of Pancakes in Toluca Lake, California, in 1958, which is how they chose the 58-cent price for the one-day-only deal. Today, there are more than 1,600 locations across the U.S.
