Syracuse, N.Y. — Officials in Mayor Ben Walsh’s administration are moving ahead with a plan to sell the city’s 152-year-old flatiron style office building and find a new home for up to 130 employees.

The sale could be a step toward a consolidated city-county workspace at the historic Carnegie Library building -- a long-vacant county-owned building that County Executive Ryan McMahon has been eager to put to better use.
