Syracuse, N.Y. -- Want to chat with Buddy Boeheim or Jimmy Boeheim? Interested in having them deliver a message to a friend or loved one?

That’s now possible because of new Name, Image, Likeness (NIL) rules that allow college athletes to make money without jeopardizing their playing eligibility.

The Boeheims, now teammates at SU, announced their availability on Cameo, a site that facilitates interactions between celebrities and their fans. It will cost $60 to chat up the Syracuse basketball brothers.

Buddy Boeheim on Cameo

Syracuse basketball guard Buddy Boeheim is now available on Cameo to record messages for fans.

“I’m looking forward to connecting with you guys and hearing your requests whether it may be a birthday, a special occasion or just wanted to reach out and hear from me,” Buddy Boeheim says on his Cameo page. “Hit the link in the bio and contact me and let’s do this. Go ‘Cuse.”

Jimmy Boeheim is on Cameo, where he can interact with fans for a fee.

“I’m excited to be on Cameo,” Jimmy Boeheim says. “I’m looking forward to hearing from all of you and getting you some great videos, be it for a birthday, a special event, a pep talk or even just checking in to say Hi. Again, looking forward to hearing from all of you and Go ‘Cuse.”

For a point of reference, Jim Boeheim is also on Cameo. It costs $200 to interact with the Syracuse coach.

SU athletic director John Wildhack spoke earlier today about how the university is guiding its athletes in this new era of NIL. He said he knew of one deal that had been struck thus far. That was for football player Justin Barron, who will be paid to play video games on the Yoke gaming site that connects athletes to video game players.

These deals with Syracuse and other college athletes will continue to trickle in through the coming days and weeks.
