Syracuse, N.Y. — A Syracuse University fundraising campaign launched just before the pandemic hit has brought in $1 billion.

The money will be used to expand research, recruit faculty, provide more student financial aid and make capital improvements on campus. SU launched the campaign, known as “Forever Orange,” in November of 2019 with a goal of raising $1.5 billion.
