Syracuse, N.Y. -- New York high school athletes will again have a chance to compete for state titles starting in the fall.

Robert Zayas, executive director of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association, said his group and schools across the state are already making plans to resume that competition. State playoffs have been canceled since the winter of 2019-20 because of Covid.
