The Great New York State Fair has added its 20th concert to the 2021 lineup.

Country star Russell Dickerson will perform at the NYS Fair’s Chevy Park stage on Wednesday, Aug. 25. A time has not been announced yet.

The concert is free with admission to the Fair.

Dickerson was nominated for best new male artist at the ACM Awards last year and released his second album in December. The Tennessee-based country singer’s hits include “Yours,” “Blue Tacoma,” “Every Little Thing” and “Love You Like I Used To.”

This year’s “Reimagined New York State Fair” will take place Aug. 20 through Sept. 6, with four outdoor areas across the fairgrounds, including food and beverages; amusement rides and games on the Midway; farm animals on display in the agriculture row; and concerts at the Chevy Park stage (formerly the New York Experience stage) on the New York Experience festival grounds.

Attendance will be limited due to Covid-19, and concertgoers will need a ticket to enter the concert area, in addition to the $3 admission ticket to the Fair. Concert-area tickets will be free of charge and available until the attendance limit is reached.

More than 50 national touring shows will be presented at the NYS Fair’s Chevrolet Music Festival, the largest free music festival at any state fair in America. Twenty shows have been confirmed so far, with more announcements expected in the coming weeks.
