Syracuse, N.Y. ― Syracuse associate head coach Adrian Autry is one of 26 invitees to this year’s TopConnect Leadership Institute.
The TopConnect Leadership Institute, which began in 2018, identifies and works with top basketball assistant coaches and senior level athletic administrators and helps them develop the skills and relationships necessary for them to advance along their career paths.
The TopConnect program, which begins on May 18, is run in conjunction with East Tennessee State University. This year’s invitees include 13 coaches and 13 administrators.
The program is conducted over four months and features symposiums with leadership discussions, activities and networking opportunities. Topics and sessions will include mock interviews, branding, crisis management, and an in-depth look at the search process.
Autry has been on Jim Boeheim’s coaching at Syracuse since 2012. He works with the team’s forwards and has recruited the likes of Jerami Grant, Tyler Ennis and Oshae Brissett.
A Syracuse graduate, Autry played for Boeheim from 1990 to 1994. He finished his SU career with 1,538 points and still ranks fifth on the school’s career assists list.
