STATE COLLEGE — The week got off to a quick start for Penn State with two decisions that affect the Nittany Lions both in the near future and a little further down the road.
Late Sunday night, PhillyVoice reported Malvern Prep star Lonnie White Jr., who signed with the Penn State football team in December, decided he was going to begin a professional baseball career with the Pittsburgh Pirates, who drafted him No. 64 overall earlier this month.
