Hearts in San Francisco

The heart sculptures you’ve seen throughout the city were Commissioned and auctioned in support of ZSFG.

150 years keeping the heart of San Francisco beating strong.

ZSFG at 150

On August 28, 1872, the City of San Francisco opened the doors to the City and County Hospital at 23rd and Potrero Streets, making an investment in public health that would withstand plagues and earthquakes, population booms and great inventions. 150 years later, Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital still stands, keeping the heart of this city beating strong.

Your generosity will have an immediate impact—and a lasting effect—on public health in San Francisco.
