We envision a future where nonprofit organizations, philanthropic foundations, and companies with a strong corporate social responsibility focus are able to effectively communicate their work and goals through messaging, content, organizational cultures, and overall impact in a way that aligns with their values and resonates with their target audiences.

KMSG is proud to be an LGBT-owned and operated enterprise led by a first-generation college graduate. We are committed to reflecting the principles and values of equity, inclusion, and belonging espoused by our clients. To date, 86% of KMSG’s client work has been for projects led by women and people of color and we’re proud to work with a team of strategic advisors and partners who reflect that diversity. We prioritize the wellbeing of our clients, partners, and staff, and operate under a four-day workweek model.

KMSG is invested, literally, in helping build engagement for – and investments in – movements for change where funding and support are needed most.

We were founded on the principles of community support and engagement. We donate 10% of revenue after expenses to movements, nonprofit organizations, and community service providers – 2X the amount required by law of philanthropic charities and foundations. To date, we’ve donated $100,000 to nonprofit organizations through the KMSG Social Impact Award and The Etolia Fund.

"KMSG is a next-generation firm that is leading innovative and necessary reforms [to the social impact sector]. Its early success and profitability from day one are a successful case study and counter-narrative to the misguided notion that new businesses must choose between profit and social responsibility."

Their direction over Global Citizen’s policy and advocacy executive thought leadership took us to new levels.”

  • "Since I-MAK began working with KMSG we've benefited from their deep understanding of the philanthropic and social impact sector. KMSG built and executed strategies for impact messaging and thought leadership that put I-MAK in front of donors, changemakers, and key target audiences. Their work with us has led to editorial and digital amplification in outlets we'd long hoped to engage. Kindred has a unique ability to see intersections between seemingly-disparate or siloed issues and forge connections between them for exponential impact. I've learned a lot from working with him."
