are using the time to prepare for their next chapter in life.

CCI Speer “Academic All-Star” winner from Troy High School Mack Hagenbaugh received a boost for his education plans. At the end of each school year, one graduate is awarded a $1,000 scholarship and this year it’s Mack Hagenbaugh of Troy.

“Getting a scholarship from a company that makes ammo is pretty cool, pretty close to heart and this will be huge to help me pay for school and stuff,” said Hagenbaugh. “So, I'm just so grateful and honored that I was chosen for this. I'm studying agricultural economics at the University of Idaho. So, the goal overall is to get a degree in that which is really safe degree. There are tons of jobs open for that right now. And if I'm feeling it, I'll go to law school or med school afterwards.”

“We want to try and reinvest back into the youth in this area and this is one way to do that by helping them get to school,” said CCI Speer’s Senior Operations Manager, Mike Overberg.

“Yeah we were blown away,” said Mack’s Father, Ric. “What a blessing for us he's worked really hard and we're really fortunate for a great organization like this and be able to use this money for college a real help.”

Congratulations to Mack and to all of our CCI Speer Academic All-Stars this year!
