Helping women and families through connection, advocacy, and education.

IWCC is a safe community gathering center for immigrant women and their families.

We are culturally diverse, empathetic, compassionate, and dedicated to bridging the gap in our increasingly diverse world.

Improving our community is possible. We’ve done it before.

IWCC is run by women for women. There are few to no organizations in the area that create a comprehensive approach to women’s overall health and well-being. In the Seattle area, the refugee and homeless population are quite large. There is a strong need for culturally competent services to assist these underserved populations. We believe that in order to heal from trauma and abuse, a holistic approach is necessary.

Ready to take the next step?

It takes a village. Whether you’re most comfortable contributing time to help achieve our advocacy goals, money to help us grow, or energy to put political pressure on our governments to change, we need you on our team. All forms of contribution help our community and is greatly appreciated!

“Here at IWCC, the case managers go out with the families, such as myself, and we help them. We teach them how to shop and how to stretch that dollar.”
