A three-month accelerated learning collaborative
April 2021 to June 2021

Overview

TISH is recruiting 20 primary care and oral health teams to participate in an innovative research opportunity and four-month accelerated learning collaborative supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). This program will launch on April 28th, 2021.

This exciting collaborative focuses on strengthening primary care and oral health partnerships and increasing early detection of hypertension and gingivitis while also leveraging recent advances in telehealth.

This project is an opportunity to contribute and participate in innovative research aimed at improving patient-centered care that promotes oral health as a part of a holistic approach to primary care. This work provides an opportunity to improve oral health and primary care disparities in partnership with the innovative team at the Center for Integration of Primary Care and Oral Health (CIPCOH).

The Collaborative Will Include:

  • Two 2-hour virtual learning sessions

  • Bi-weekly content calls

  • Networking and relationship building with a local and national network of primary care
    and oral health sites

  • Support from leading oral health and primary care integration experts

  • Comprehensive evaluation of programs
