In this course, students will learn the basics of starting a vermicomposting system at home.  We will discuss the aspects of vermiculture and how to build a successful bin.  Students will also gain an understanding of the issues of food waste and the science behind diverting it from the landfill.  The course includes modules: the issue of food waste and vermicomposting basics, as well as, video instruction.
