Celebrate Int'l School of Beaverton (ISB) Seniors

Like all of us, our Senior Class of 2021 at the International School of Beaverton has dealt with so many extra challenges due to the pandemic since they were Juniors last year. It is looking like they will continue to not have many of the traditional milestones they have already missed out on, similar to the class of 2020. They haven't had a Junior Prom, their Senior Prom will be very modified, they haven't had any of the traditional senior events and celebrations (awards assemblies, all-night grad party, dances, socials, senior breakfast, traditional graduation practice and ceremony, etc.) of their hard work and commitment to graduate and pursue their next level of life goals. As students at ISB, they have dedicated themselves to the International Baccalaureate Programme, an internationally-certified rigorous academic program, which if all requirements are met, a student can enter college with up to 30 credits. Many have spent at least the last two years in this program, and for some, it's been 6 years since they entered ISB in the Middle Years Programme. So they've worked hard. And we want to be able to celebrate them!
However, as you can imagine, our fundraising efforts have been very limited due to the pandemic. In addition, our options for how to safely celebrate them have shifted and been very limited over the last 10 months that we have been planning as a committee of parents. Our original purpose was to plan their All-Night Grad Party...however it is looking like that will no longer be a reality.
Therefore, we hope you can join us in contributing towards a fund that we would use to celebrate these awesome, hard-working seniors as they head off to their next steps in life. We hope to be able to at least provide them with a personalized Senior Class t-shirt (see design above) as well as a treat bag with a gift card to help them prepare for college or whatever their next step in life is coming ahead.
Please join us in contributing and also please forward this invitation to contribute to others who might be interested in helping these young people know they have been noticed, are valued, and will be celebrated!!!
