About this event

The next edition of Leaders Live - our topical sport business discussion show that brings you the brightest minds and boldest new concepts driving professional sport – is an Olympic special, as we debate the future direction of the Games, including:

- Major event hosting and funding models
- Storytelling and brand equity
- Participation and programme funding.

Already delayed by a year and set to take place in front of largely empty stands, the Tokyo 2020 Olympics is set to be remarkably different from previous editions. Beijing, Paris, Milan-Cortina and Los Angeles, meanwhile, are preparing to host the Games over the next decade amid significant uncertainty about who’ll be watching, how they’ll be watching and ultimately who cares.

On Thursday 29th July, tune in for a no-holds barred conversation about the Olympics with Amy Gleeson, who leads LA28’s multi-channel brand and marketing strategy, and global sports leader Sarah Lewis, the former Secretary General at the International Ski Federation. Your views on the Games, their relevance and how they should evolve are welcome too.

Together with Infront X, we’ll be bringing you the action live on LinkedIn and Twitter from 15:00 (BST) / 10:00 (ET)
