The School of Graduate Studies presents an annual Graduate Research Day to showcase the remarkable research of our graduate students to the LSUHSC-NO community. This day is our keystone event to highlight their efforts. The students work vigorously throughout their time here to investigate, advance, and publish novel biomedical research.

Dr. Joseph M. Moerschbaecher, III, former Dean of Graduate Studies & Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs, was a tireless champion of graduate students. He was directly involved in all aspects of their student experience including Graduate Research Day.

We are dedicating this event to him by officially renaming it as the Dr. Joseph M. Moerschbaecher, III Graduate Research Day. Donations collected will allow us to sustain and grow this annual event.
