Emma Hunter (PHTM '16, PHTM *17)

Emma Hunter (PHTM '16, PHTM *17) is a disaster management professional charged with coordinating regional emergency response activities in the San Francisco Bay Area. As Regional Coordinator for the Association of Bay Area Health Officials (ABAHO), Emma supports the work of the 13 Bay Area health officers, public health preparedness managers, medical countermeasures coordinators, public information officers, hospital preparedness coordinators, and Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) coordinators. Emma facilitates the Region II Public Health Multi-Agency Coordination (MAC) Group and sits on the Bay Area BioWatch Advisory Committee. Prior to ABAHO, Emma worked in the Texas State Medical Operations Center and with San Mateo County Health.
