This 30-credit program offers strong undergraduates already at UConn an opportunity to begin graduate-level study during their senior year and continue for a fifth year after completing undergraduate requirements. Students will receive real-world training in how earth and environmental scientists collect, analyze and interpret data and be exposed to training centered on the themes of water, climate and the environment. Completion of the program, followed by work in the environmental sector, prepares students to pursue certification as a Licensed Professional Geologist or Environmental Professional in New England and beyond.
