Call for Speakers - YP Workshop 2024

We are looking for speakers during the Young Professional (YP) Workshop on April 5th, the 4th day of the Florida Water Resources Conference. The YP Workshop is held at the Gaylord Hotel in Orlando, Florida from approximately 9 am to 3 pm.

The goal of the YP Workshop is to showcase several experts in the field, conduct a workshop related to soft-skills, and lead a panel where YP panelists can share their experiences and struggles. The speaker presentations are approximately 30-45 minutes, including questions from the audience. Speaker topics are expected to be generic due to the diverse nature of the audience (regulatory employees, contractors, consultants, utility workers, etc). Some example topics are shown below:

Leadership tips
Explanation of your career journey
Industry changes to be expected for the next 20 years
Challenges you have experienced in your career and how you overcame them

All speakers will be in-person with no virtual option.
