In our efforts to maintain a positive school tone, we want to keep students out of the hallways and stairwells. This will also make it easier for our Peace Teachers, Assistant Principals and Safety Agents to execute their hallway patrols.

We have a limited number of spaces available to students and some of these options are not so quiet including the cafeteria, auditorium and student lounge.  As you know we have many introverted students who do not want to be in the cafeteria, auditorium or student lounge.  

Please consider opening up your classroom to become a QUIET and SAFE space that we can advertise to students as a place they can go on a specific day(s) and class period(s) to host these students who might just want to read a book or do their homework.  Thanks for considering the request.  You can always leave a sign that you are not available on a particular day/period so you do not feel locked in to a space for the rest of your life :)  You can always just stop offering up the space in general if conditions change.
