Men's Project Spring 2023 Application

Meetings will be from 6 - 8 pm on Wednesday nights.

The Men’s Project Goals include:

  1. Reduce sexism, rape myth acceptance, androcentric language, and coercion in intimate relationships

  2. Assist in the exploration of positive & personal masculinity and the vast differences and impacts of socialized and hyper-masculine environments.

  3. Increase feminism, feminist activism, bystander intervention, and egalitarianism in intimate relationships

  4. Reduce the incidence of sexual assault

The Men’s Project is a sexual assault primary prevention program that targets college students who identify as men.  Over the course of 11 weeks, students explore issues related to masculinity, gender-based violence, and responses to the breadth and depth of sexual assault, with the intent of them taking this information into their individual cohorts and organizations seen as male-dominated areas (i.e. STEM or Business programs, Athletics, etc).
