Join us for the inaugural overnight Mid City Mission for a week of faith, fellowship and service, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church to serve in the geographical boundaries of our parish. We will serve alongside community partners at local non-profit agencies, as well as assisting our neighbors and parishioners most in need.
Dates: June 18-22, 2024
-Drop off: 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18th
-Pick-up: 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22nd
-All families of participants are invited to attend the 4:00 p.m. Vigil Mass on Saturday June 22, 2024 and then join us for a community celebration following Mass.
-TBA: Introductory preparation meeting before the mission.
Cost: $100 per participant (financial aid is available; be sure to indicate in the application process) — No Payment due at this time.
Expectations of the week
-Fully Participate: You are committing to the entire week of June 18-22, 2024, and understand you will not be allowed to leave for other events. Participants will stay overnight as a part of the mission experience.
-Willingness to Serve: Come ready to work and serve others.
**One form must be filled out per child.
