Warranty & Returns

TechniArt Incorporated serves as the vendor responsible for managing the Focus on Energy marketplace. Any order from this store that requires payment will appear on your billing statement as TechniArt Incorporated. TechniArt’s product warranty and return policy outline the following:

  • Returning damaged or defective items

Order Cancellations

If you want to cancel your order, please get in touch with our customer service team as soon as possible.

If your order has already shipped, you may attempt to refuse the package. If you cannot refuse the package, you will need to process a return by contacting our customer service team. We will process a refund to your original payment method within five to seven business days once we receive the merchandise.

General Item Returns

Customers can return all purchases within 30 days from the date of delivery. Returns are not accepted after 30 days.

Contact our customer service team at 800.762.7077 or marketplace@focusonenergy.com to initiate your return. They will provide you with a prepaid label by calculating the shipping fee based on the weight of your returned items. We will deduct the cost of shipping from your refund amount unless your return was a result of an error made by TechniArt.

You are responsible for returning items in their original condition. Package items carefully for shipment and address to the following locations per the pending shipping carrier:

Upon receiving the returned item, we will process a refund to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.

We cannot refund products that have been installed or are not in original, resale condition. Smart thermostats must be sealed in original packaging for return. If you open your smart thermostat, we will not accept it as a return.

We strongly advise you to check compatibility with your system before opening the package.

If you receive the wrong item, contact our customer service team, who will facilitate an exchange.

Damaged Item Returns

We will reship items damaged in transit at no cost to you. If your item was damaged during transit, you must notify TechniArt within two business days to process a replacement order. Please include photos of the damage and retain all original packaging, as the carrier may request an inspection. Our team will file a claim with the carrier on your behalf.

TechniArt must receive some specific items, such as smart thermostats, before processing reshipment. For these items, we will send a prepaid shipping label to you.;

Defective Item Returns (Smart Thermostats)

If the smart thermostat or EV charger you received is defective, please contact the manufacturer directly to troubleshoot. All smart thermostats include a manufacturer warranty based on the manufacturer and product. If the manufacturer determines your product is faulty, please work with them to obtain a replacement.

Defective Items Returns (All Other Products)

If an item is defective, you may request a refund or an exchange within one year from the delivery date. We may provide a prepaid label to return the defective item at our discretion. If we provide a prepaid label, we will ship a replacement or process the refund within five to seven business days of receipt of the item.

Warranty

Each product we offer comes with a one-year warranty from the date you receive your order. You must retain your receipt for warranty. Contact our customer service team to start your claim. If an item is defective after our one-year warranty, we will refer you to the manufacturer for further assistance.
