AI Statements for Syllabi
Three statement options have been developed by the Summer & Fall 2024 AI task force for use in all course syllabi regarding a students use of AI tools in the course. These options include: Broader Use of Generative AI Permitted Within Guidelines; Use of Generative AI Permitted Under Some Circumstances or with Explicit Permission; No Use of Generative AI Permitted. Faculty should choose from the three options to include in their syllabi to inform students what level of AI use will be accepted in the course.
