College & Career Center
Welcome to the new school year! Hello, my name is Roderick Booker and I am the College and Career Access Specialist for the Evergreen High School. This will be my ninth year and I am excited to serve your students this year. I am located in the Future Center here on the Evergreen High School in room 701
As the College and Career Access Specialist, I will serve as manager and point-of-contact for outside community partners who provide related services along with;
- Project manager for school-driven college and career events, programs, panels and fairs
- Career awareness, career exploratory, jobs shadows, volunteer service and paid Internships
- College prep, support, visits, and scholarship attainment
- SAT/ACT preparation and support
- Financial Aid Support for students and financial literacy for families
- Liaison between students, counselors, teachers, administrators, and district staff
This all is done to help equip your students for post-secondary education whether it be a two-year college, workforce, apprenticeships, Internships, military, four-year University or professional technical schools. I work also with a great team of other community partners in the College and Career Center:

We work as a team in helping your students around college and career preparation success, so when they leave Evergreen High School they are Equipped, Engaged and Empowered for post-secondary success and beyond!
