It is less concerned with academic achievement or recognition, but by the way one treats others and contributes to the overall experience of attending Westview. He died serving his country and fellow soldiers in Iraq, where he was fittingly a corpsman (medic) in the Marines - another example of putting others first. The recipient of the Marcques Nettles Memorial Scholarship is a Westview student who exemplifies putting others first. At least one award $1,000
