Academic Team Wright & Morris
The Academic Team is a group of students who share the joy of learning through academic competition. This is a quick recall team for 9th through 12th grade students, and they compete annually during the fall semester. The competition involves rounds of quick questions and answers using a buzzer system. Teams earn points in each round in an effort to get to the championship round.

Clemson Biology Merit ExamLynnlynnj@fmsdmail.orgThursdays in the SpringD322The Clemson University Department of Biological Sciences annually conducts the Biology Merit Exam to recognize and promote outstanding achievement in the biological sciences among middle and high school students in South Carolina. Students attending the Biology Merit Exam at Clemson University will have an opportunity to: Test their biology knowledge, Acquaint themselves with Clemson University, Tour the Clemson campus, explore the museums, attend special science exhibits and demonstrations (as part of Bio Science Expo), Prepare for the Advanced Placement Exam, Prepare for success on the Biology End of of Course Exam, Explore a college atmosphere and see what a college freshman exam might look like, and Compete against students at grade level for awards.

This is an opportunity for students with and without disabilities to interact together through sports and community involvement.

HOSA’s purpose is to develop leadership and technical competencies through a program of motivation, awareness and recognition, which is an integral part of the instructional program. This student-led organization provides opportunities for students to practice and refine their academics, technical, leadership and teamwork skills to achieve seamless transition from classroom to career. The mission of HOSA is to enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality health care by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all health science education students, therefore, helping the student meet the needs of the health care community.
