Computational modeling survey
The ModECI project (Model Exchange and Convergence Initiative) is a collaborative NSF-funded initiative to develop a new model exchange format for computational models. Our goal is to develop a standardized, graph-based format for representing a very wide range of computational models, spanning fields as diverse as cognitive science, neuroscience, machine learning, AI, evolutionary biology, and others.

As part of this project, we're interested in better understanding when and how researchers use computational models in their work, and the types of models they use. In this brief survey, we'll ask you a series of questions about whether and how you use computational models in your research, what kind, and what benefits (if any) you perceive in the development of a common model exchange format.

All questions are optional. If you provide your contact information (name and email), we may contact you later with additional information about the project and/or other survey opportunities. We will never share your information with anyone else whatsoever, and promise to keep communications to a minimum (no more than 1 email every few months at most).
