The Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) is currently seeking members to participate on a new LGBTQIA+ Advisory Committee. Community members of all sexual orientations and gender identities who have an interest in supporting LGBTQIA+ HCPSS students are encouraged to apply for participation.

Committee members will discuss how to best include LGBTQIA+ voices and provide ideas and input regarding guest speakers, activities, and special events to support staff and student learning.

The committee will meet quarterly during the school year, during the fall and spring. Meetings during the 2020-2021 school year will be held virtually. Interested participants are asked to complete an online interest form by March 30, 2021. For more information, please contact Nancy Dickson at nancy_dickson@hcpss.org.
